I'm Sophia, a passionate 26-year-old wedding photographer based just outside DC in Northern Virginia. Capturing love stories through my lens is not just a job but a profound joy that I cherish with every wedding I photograph. It's been six years and I've photographed close to 100 weddings which seems unreal! I also love travel which is why all of my wedding packages don't come with travel fees.

My journey into photography began with a fascination for visual storytelling and a deep love for artistic expression. The photography gene runs in my family, my great-grandfather had his own photography studio in Panama and from there, knowledge of photography was passed down through the generations of my family to me. I believe in always having fun and prioritizing a stress-free lifestyle which translates into my photography style — vibrant, authentic, and joyful.

I LOVE animals. Years before I became a wedding photographer, I did full-time volunteer work at the Humane Society. That's where I met my first pet dog of my own, a beagle named Daisy. Now I'm a dog mom to a sweet 5 year old cockapoo named Leo.

I love capturing engagement sessions and weddings with a special focus on pets. Whether it's a dog in a cute bowtie walking down the aisle or a sweet first look between a couple and their four-legged friend, I aim to capture those heartwarming scenes that highlight the love and joy pets bring. Pets are family, and I'm dedicated to making sure they're part of your wedding story.
